Maui's beauty industry has just moved up a few notches with the arrival of Bata Plavsic, a professional make up artist for the past 20 years in the US & Europe. With a degree in Fine Art, Bata started out as a painter and sculptor, and then got involved with fashion and beauty, where he discovered his real passion. He has worked with many well known faces (Heidi Klum, Angelica Huston, Daryl Hannah, Patricia Arquette, Jane Fonda, to name a few) and many high profile events, including the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, and Fashion Weeks in NYC and Paris. His work graces the pages and covers of many fashion magazines all over the world.
